Colour Throwdown Challenge #531 (Make A Wish)

 

This is my entry for this week's Colour Throwdown Challenge #531. 

I used the Elegant Stripe die by Tonic Studios to create the pattern at bottom of the card. I inlaid the stripes with purple and orange cardstock which I then mounted on 3d foam.
 I then mounted the stripe panel onto the grey decorative paper and adhered towards the bottom of the card.

To create the wish I used Altenew Bold Alpha dies and for the candle I used a die set from Hobbycraft called Luxe Happy Birthday Candles. I then added some diamontes to the candle . The "make a" is die-cut using the Birdie Brown Alphabet. To finish I punched some stars from the grey decorative paper.

I really thought I was going to fail this week purple is one of my least favourite colours however it all came together in the end and I'm happy with the end result!
